Training and Trainers Division
For the duration of more than 20 years, Eltel Technologistics Ltd. has acquired a wealth of experience in the training field.
In the year 2010, a Training and Trainer division was established, specializing in providing a variety of professional solutions in outsourcing. Solutions are derived on a technical level – logistics, maintenance and operations, as well as support, control, apprenticeship and training management and also on the constitutional level – grouping and recruiting.
The division counts at approximately 340 employees, an integrated mixture of choice army people (including officers on the levels of colonel and brigadier general) and professional people – engineers, applied engineers and technicians, knowledgeable in technological and logistical fields. A portion of the workers are permanent and a portion of them are recruited when the need arises.
The head offices are located in Ashdod, with branches in Tzeelim and Ashdod, and field operations which are executed all throughout Israel.
The Division is divided into three business units and a separate systems department of experts:
1. Operations Business Unit – management and inspection of practice drills.
2. Maintenance Business Unit – maintenance of electronic systems, vehicles and infrastructure.
3. Trainers Business Unit – training solution provisions on a technical level with accompaniment until field training.
4. Systems Department – maintenance and maintenance service provision for software, hardware, LAN communication servers, tactical radio and
telephone communication and debriefing systems.
Operations Business Unit – Drill Management and Inspection
• Operation of a central debriefing and drill inspection system used as the largest simultaneous training center of the IDF, dealing with training
units on a technical level, techno-tactical level and the tactical level until the strategy-systems level.
• Field Training Units (battalions, brigades) through the provision of feedback to the trainees in real time, using unique control
and inspection systems. The training is executed on a tactical level, on the basis of maneuvers using multiple integrated laser engagement systems
(MILES) performance kit.
• The Center for Urban Battle Training and Knowledge, Learning and Operation Group training of field units in urban battle and in regions where
maneuvers are limited, such as built-up areas or tangled and bushy areas.
The emphasis is on training in a variety of formations, in different realities
and in conditions that simulate realistic scenarios against the enemy on the battlefield.
• Operation of staged enemy scenarios in drills in the framework of urban sites, open areas and including systems for the simulation of a maneuvering
enemy and pyrotechnics of all types to simulate a realistic battlefield.
Maintenance Business Unit – Maintenance of Electronic systems, Vehicles and Infrastructure
• Provision of maintenance services to all systems of the Center for Debriefing and Drill Inspection: vehicle, electronic, communication, structures, logistics
• Issuing of equipment to trainees
• Storage inventory management
• Vehicle modeling, maintenance and manufacture
• Manufacture of mission models and trailers
• Structure and infrastructure maintenance
Trainers Business Unit – Provision of training solutions on a technical and field trainer level
• Guidance services, operation and maintenance for technical training systems, certification and individual training
• Guidance services, operation and maintenance of ranges for infantry units and shooting ranges for snipers
• Guidance services and maintenance for tactical training
• Guidance services and maintenance for MILES systems in simultaneous laser training
• Guidance services and maintenance for Beamhit Laser Training System
• Manufacture and operation of mobile ranges for infantry corps training
• Simultaneous maintenance for land and air trainers
• Maintenance and provision of maintenance services for software and hardware, LAN communication servers, radio and television tactical
communication and debriefing systems.
• Operational, maintenance and development services for software systems, computerization, communication and video and audio systems; used to
execute training, inspection and debriefing of the army and other clients.
• Maintenance of mission systems: communication, software, information systems, networks, linear, wireless and cellular communication.
